Prague Fringe Festival

The Prague Fringe Festival is coming soon!
The First Year
In 2001, the Fringe Festival came into being. It was modeled on a similar festival in the city of Edinburgh. The Festival concentrates on shows that are, to put it mildly, not your run-of-the-mill entertainment.
Performances
Performers come from all over the world to take part in the Festival. The performances are live, and if they are spoken-word performances, the language used is English. Sometimes a show is in mime; sometimes it is in song. They are no more than an hour in length.
It’s a Hit!
This year, the Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary. The festivities begin on May 27, and the final day is June 4. It offers a wide and varied program, mostly in smaller venues in Malá Strana. Tickets are available online; the festival website (in English and Czech) offers short synopses of all the performances. For more information, see: https://www.praguefringe.com/
