Prague Beer Tour – Itinerary:

When you arrive at the starting point of the tour – at the statue of Saint Wenceslas, at the top of Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), you will be standing at a place where many historical events have taken place, such as various demonstrations against the totalitarian regime. The demonstrations on this large square led to the end of Communism during the Velvet Revolution of 1989.

We’ll leave this historic place and take a tram to Vinohrady, where we’ll visit a quaint beer cellar with a garden. You’ll have your choice of 27 Czech microbrewery beers – that’s right – 27! Why not sample the pickled sausage here as well? Czechs think it goes well with their beer. This beer snack here ranks among the best in the city.

Your guide will decide where to go next. It depends on which pub is serving the best beer and which beer hall has the best musical accompaniment, among other things. The guide will choose the best place for you to savor this experience and adventure.

Then it’s time for a ride on the Metro. Our destination is the Old Town, the pub
where the first Pilsner Urquell beer was offered back in 1843. Sampling this Czech beer is an unforgettable experience, and you will learn all about the significance of Pilsner Urquell beer, about the great impact it has had on Czech culture. That’s not all. The beer will come from a tank rather than a keg, which means that the beer contains less CO2. This factor makes the beer taste even better. We recommend you book the small group beer tour as it is always more fun to socialize with other people during a beer tour. There will be no more than 9 people in the group, but most often there are around 5 people on the tour. When you join our small group beer tour, you can get a discount (see prices below). The small group beer tour starts in front of the statue of St.Wenceslas on Wenceslas Square almost daily at 5 pm: We will send you a map with instructions after your booking. If you book the private beer tour our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. The private beer tour might not be available during the high season.

Prague Beer Tour – Additional information

• We reserve the right to change the tour itinerary in case one of the pubs is closed. In the event that a beer hall has changed its menu, we will choose the best alternative for the Czech beer tapas. You receive one portion of Czech ‘beer tapas’ for two people.
• You are welcome to taste more beers during the tour at your own expense.
• If you wish, you can order a non-alcoholic beverage instead of beer.
• You must be 18 or older to take this tour, so please bring a valid photo I.D. 
• Please note that smoking is allowed in Czech beer halls.
